Correct mine was early and did not but the late ones did.I am hearing that later 2017 models did have the HUD, but the early 2017 models didn't.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway to make sure a 2017 model has the HUD or not? The only way I can think of is trying to find the original window sticker.
If you have a picture of the interior, check the steering wheel buttons. If the middle one on the right side says "HUDAnyway to make sure a 2017 model has the HUD or not? The only way I can think of is trying to find the original window sticker.
That's incorrect. I test drove two 2017 models with the Technology Package. All the researched I did there was none with HUD in the 2017 Models. They were introduced in late 2017 as 2018 models.
I'm neglected to mention that I'm in canada. They didn't have them here, only late US models had them. That's incorrect. I test drove two 2017 models with the Technology Package.
One had the HUD and the other didn't.
I have the HUD on my 2017, but it's got every package available. I'm not sure if lower level trims included it.I am hearing that later 2017 models did have the HUD, but the early 2017 models didn't.

Yeah I believe the HUD came with a technology package. Basically I found that if it had the HUD it also had the 360 camera, parking assist and I believe the LED headlights. It’s been a year since I researched all that to find mine so I’m a little fuzzy but I’m pretty sure that was the case. The only option mine doesn’t have is the rear seat entertainment package.I have the HUD on my 2017, but it's got every package available. I'm not sure if lower level trims included it.
I've seen a good number of Black Label trims with the 2.7L engine. So getting a 3.0L engine is far from a guarantee.Very well put. You have hit the nail on the head.
Based on your ownership of the Conti when you had one, is there any advice you might have to be on the look-out for this or that or perhaps a feature to avoid or make sure to have?
I've been predominantly looking at only Black Labels as they seemingly all come with the 3.0 and AWD along with the Revel Ultima, which to me is must haves in the next Conti.
Are you saying the HUD wasn't available in Canada at all?I'm neglected to mention that I'm in canada. They didn't have them here, only late US models had them.
It was only in the later model of that year. I think on cars built after Jan.Are you saying the HUD wasn't available in Canada at all?
Sure let me take some pictures tomorrow. So a couple notes that I had to do to make it fit. 1st was I had to get a smaller battery that was still the larger capacity and move the tray to the back. I also had to cut into the steeda kit to allow the hood lifter to fit as otherwise it hits. Once I upload the picture it will make it clearer. For the intercooler is was pretty simple. Basically just dropped the old one and put the new one directly were the old one was. I would highly recommend you upgrade the BPV as well if you are doing those changes.
So is the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG with 621hp. Nothing wrong with wanting more power. Why are you doing int all this?? 400hp isn’t enough? This is a luxury car.
Was curious about the rear motor mount from Ultimate Performance. It specifically says does NOT fit the Lincoln Continental. When I researched the OEM Continental mount it definitely was a different part number. Did you have any issues with that Ultimate Performance mount?Hi Everyone,
Just thought id put in what I did with my 2017 continental BL 3.0L incase anyone is interested. Been working on these small changes over the last couple of years as I really like the vehicle and don't plan on replacing it anytime soon since they discontinued making cars.
1. Replaced the terrible intercooler with a ultimate performance Garrett core intercooler
2. Replaced the stock Air intake system with a slightly modified Steeda CAI
3. Livernoise 91 tune (do 93 occasionally but as I live in CA I have to put race gas in to get to 93 which is not convenient for daily driving)
4. Replaced the stock BPV with a Go faster bits diverter valve plus 9358
5. Replaced the rear motor mount with a stronger one from ultimate performance
6. (in progress) Ordered an upgraded throttle body bbk 1894 65mm waiting for it to arrive
7. Put Michelin sport 4s tires on it over the stock ones it came with
So far I have enjoyed all the performance modifications and has given it a good performance boost over stock. Looking forward to the new TB when it arrives but it is taking forever. Also did try to replace the exhaust system but went back to stock as it just was far too loud and too much vibration for my liking. My goal was to give added performance without ruining the luxury feel, ride, and daily driving of the vehicle.
Yes I even technically have an extra somewhere in my garage as I purchased 2 when I got it.Was curious about the rear motor mount from Ultimate Performance. Only problem with this is sucking in hot air from inside the engine compartment is good. Cold air is much better.Pictures of the CAI
It seals with the hood and is a major improvement over the stock one which heat soaks and allows no air flow whatsoever. So unless you want to do some major modifications its the way to go.Only problem with this is sucking in hot air from inside the engine compartment is good. Cold air is much better.
