2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Latest information from sales manager at dealership, as of July18, my car order is unscheduled and waiting to get picked up for build. Seems to me that after 9 months, it should have been scheduled a long time ago. Trying to buy American, but it appears Lincoln is not consumer friendly.

Maybe the dealer doesn't have an allocation? They will take your order but it won't get scheduled without an allocation. I ordered a Reserve on 6-14 and got email on 6-22 that I was scheduled for build the week of 8-21. Unless there is a constraint on something but the dealer would know that and ask you to modify order to get scheduled.

Okay, just to clarify. I ordered this in early June and received this email from Lincoln on June 22nd. I've attached a pic. I've received no more emails or updates since then. Is this normal? Or should I have received something that talks about when they're planning on building etc.

Since January I have received this twice for Lincoln.

If Linvoln hasn't changed their procedure you should about now receive an email with a to check status yourself.

finally, I see the light at the end of the tunnel, my Corsair GT 2023 has just arrived at my dealership, after 9 months of waiting I will drive it this weekend

Just received our 2023 Corsair GT today! Very happy with it so far. Hope it turns out as good or better than the 2016 MKX we had. Took 2 years because we ordered a 2022 GT in Feb '22 and it came in in 11 months later in Jan '23 but we were away for the winter and didn't accept it. We had ordered a '23 in Sept '22 and it just came in on Thursday 7/20/2023 and prepped for delivery today (Saturday 7/22/2023). Our Dealer was great thru this waiting ordeal. I got x-plan pricing, he gave top dollar for our trade, he threw in the all-weather mats for the wait, gave big Rebate dollars and added $500 at the last minute. He tried to do right by us for the wait. Customer for life...even given the crazy wait time! We don't see much red in the Red Crystal Metallic but we like the color nonetheless.

Gee, that sound nice! I ordered mine 10/30/22, received 2 emails (11/2023 and 4/2023) alerting me that 1) order accepted and 2) build date est. 7/21/2023. The dealer salesman has been a little more communicative, but not much more. Doesn’t seem to be the correct way to run a railroad.

Was waiting for the “Your car is built” e-mail, got the “supply chain difficulties” excuse. “Please be patient.” Plus a promise to receive email updates every 45 days, one that Lincoln made before, but didn’t live up to.

We are still waiting also, ordered in November. Have to ask, who is supposed to email you updates? I have contacted Lincoln concierge and my dealer, no one ever said they would send email updates. Every time I call all I get is it’s in order processing and call your dealer. Thanks.

I find it so sad how inconsistent the concierge has proven to be. Some people get amazing support including fixing priority codes. My experience was somewhere in the middle. She created a case, gave me no information and then promised to email me periodically. Incidentally she never emailed me anything useful. Mine is finally showing built. This process has me rather disenchanted with Lincoln.

Part of the draw was all of the claims about luxury car service and support. I have not seen the support yet. Service is TBD. I am not set on taking delivery. We will have to be really enamored by this vehicle when it arrives. The time it has taken to receive this order has allowed us to shop around and honestly, this is not my first pick right now. It will come down to my wife's preference.
