2023 Corsair orders, build dates

Not new so lame excuse if that is the claim. Ford Escape introduced in 2004. My Lincoln hybrid is a 2011.

My dealer was expecting mine and another one today but they didn't arrive. Bummer.

Do they know where the cars are? It boggles the mind that the dealer didn’t know what they were receiving or when….
 
In this day and age you would think something of great value would be able to be tracked every second. No less if the car has any kind of charge its location could probably be pinpointed.
 
On my new Vette you could track it's location through the Chevrolet app. It only had to go from KY to IL so it was less than 200 miles, but I was still able to monitor it's progress. (y)

I'm sure there is a true on-line tracking facility but the dealer goes by his daily status sheet that they print off every day that shows the status of all the vehicle's they have on order. Yesterday's sheet showed 2 Corsairs coming in today, mine and another. My sales guy called this afternoon and said there wasn't a transport delivery yet for today. Oh, well! I waited this long, I can wait a few more days (my dealer is closed on the weekend).

Well here’s hoping. Maybe mine will be heading down too. I imagine they ship to Orlando and then go by truck to the surrounding areas.
 
Mine was built on Thursday (6/1) and I got this e-mail today:

Your 2023 Lincoln Corsair Reserve has been built. We are performing some final inspections and preparing to ship it to your Lincoln Retailer.

Our current estimate for delivery to Vogler Lincoln is between June 12, 2023 and June 18, 2023.
