MY2023 Aviator Order Timeline Tracking thread

Heartbreak? I ordered mine 08/19/22 and finally getting it tween April 5-11 if you ordered yours in February this year and get it in April I’d say that’s pretty good
By heartbreak I mean the email I will be receiving in the next week postponing my build until July.

Going by several posts here, a BLGT seems to take 7-8 months to complete.

Peter
Our Reserve is closing in on 7 months. Its built just has not been scheduled for delivery.

Hi All, I am new to the site, but have appreciated reading through your comments and learning so much. I ordered my Aviator Reserve on March 9 because my dealer said that they would be able to tweak a scheduled build to fit my specifications, so I pulled the trigger. I got a vin # that same day with a build date of April 28. This is my very first new car purchase, I bought my current vehicle used (a Volvo XC90- shout out to Big Lebowski for his sentiments on this). Anyway, I never imagined being this excited about a vehicle, and now check the tracking button a few times daily. I have so enjoyed reading the specifics of your "timelines". Just wanted to say thank you. Also, I had a nearby dealer with my exact car, except they did not have the luxury package and I really really wanted those massaging seats, even though I have never even tried them. Can anyone tell me if I did the right thing? Is the luxury package worth the money and the wait? Thanks again!

No email yet, but the tracker shows "in production." No window sticker yet.

Hi Jbeau27 and welcome to the Lincoln Forums. Whether you did the right thing is up to you.

What I can tell you is I got the "Luxury Package" in my MKZ, and although they are two different vehicles, the Luxury Packages were relatively similar in each. Personally I consider the massaging seats worth it, especially on longer drives. My wife loves them. Plus the other options contained in the package were nice additions too.

Personally, if you have the time to wait, I would wait for the factory ordered vehicle which has everything you like. But again, only you know your situation.

Keep us updated and good luck. 🍻

The Luxury Package is Standard on with the 201A package here in Canada. I've had massaging seats on my last 2 vehicles but have never used them. The thing I Iike about it on the Aviator is that it has the Thigh Extender and Power Headrests.

My GT's order status updated today to "Built", so appears the info I was getting from the dealership last week was correct. According to them, they plan for it to arrive this Friday, then having them get windows tinted so should pick it up the first week of April.

Email from Lincoln this AM says it shipped. Convoy. Given I'm about 5hrs from the plant, looking good to land at dealer this week as they told me.

I'd love to see some pictures of that. Most of the BL interiors are iffy to me, but I love that Chalet in pictures. I'd also like to see a Destination theme in real life.

On the Lincoln site, the Chalet looks like it has black seat backs and floorboards. In customer photos, it is a chocolate brown. Hopefully, we will get it in the next month or so and I will take some photos.

I notice that as well, but after staring at the dash and steering wheel for a while, it seems there is a hint of brown.

AH, OK. Like the Sandstone interior. When I looked in person, same thing, the accent color is actually dark brown, not black, like in my Roast.

Got an email today stating our build week for middle of May. Order was placed 12/31
What is your build? options?

Is it common for vehicle to enter production before the window sticker becomes available? Randomly checked status today and saw it moved to “In Production” but no window sticker yet. (Production scheduled for week of 3/27, haven’t received an updated email yet with “In Production” status).
Update: moved to Production 3/20
Window sticker released morning of 3/22 with blend date listed as 3/27.

My order (Reserve 201A) was placed on Oct. 31 and still no build week. Not even in production yet.

so it's been long enough I couldn't remember lol

It is a Reserve I, Gilded Green, Sandstone Interior, 22 wheels, full rear center console and luxury package
It would be helpful if you entered the Reserve I in the "My Lincoln" field of your profile so it shows in the margin when you post. That way members will know what you have. ;)
