Hello, all my power seats in my 2010 town car work as they should but im having a hard time with lowering and raising the seat without tilting it..Any way i have tried to raise or lower it ends up with the seat tilted back. Can these seats really not just go straight up and down like most power seats? Any help would be appreciated!

Pretty sure mine tilts when it raises or lowers, I don't recall it going straight up and down.

I have not really had an issue, but I'm neither particularly tall nor short. My biggest issue with the seats was the uncomfortable head rest, something I solved with a pair of neck pillows from Amazon.

I don't know if later years are any different, but on my '03 the lower adjustment bar can raise and lower the front and rear independently by pushing on the front or rear of the bar, as opposed to just pushing it up in the middle. So just adjust it to where you want it.

They tilt, no straight up and down, you have to tweak it no matter what.

I don't recall if you can engage the front and rear tilt simultaneously which would effectively be up or down, but I wouldn't even if so. It feels like a good opportunity to break either the switch or the motor mechanism. Raise the front then the rear or vice versa till they are where you want them. Save the setting with the memory seats and it'll put them back as needed if you have multiple drivers. Nobody actually wants a flat perfectly level seat bottom, the front always needs to be tilted up slightly or you slide forward out of the seat. :)
I think mine are all the way down, I've more torso than leg.

I've more torso than leg.
Brilliant description. I'd like to use this in the future, with your permission. 🙏:)
