2025 Lincoln Nautilus Premium Black exterior with Tan interior, 20” wheels
2020 Lincoln Corsair Reserve purchased new Feb 2021, AWD, Traction control + Forward Collison Warning alerts display on instrument screen. Dealer has ordered a new AWD module apparently located floor below driver’s seat. Has anyone had similar problems with their vehicle, vehicle only runs with FWD now.

Local Ford dealer didn’t sell me vehicle it’s not a Lincoln dealer
I hope I’m not getting the runaround because of that.

Update-Ford dealer called informed me the part has arrived (module) booked in for service 16 Feb. 23, apparently 5 hr job. They are really going to hit Ford with a large warranty bill

Hi jamaclean. Not that you need to worry, since thankfully it is warranty work. However, the Dealer will only get whatever Ford pays for that particular warranty repair, no matter how many hours they take to perform the work.

Hope it all works out for the best.

Let us know how you make out and good luck. 🍻

Thanks for the info, I never new that’s how it works, & yes will provide update when repair is completed. They did say a shuttle drive will be provided home then back but never mentioned a loner vehicle, LoL

Hi jamaclean. My Dealer/Service reps usually ask, but not all do.

Some service reps will ask if we want/need a complementary loaner. Others will mistakenly assume if we don't ask we don't want one. Others are just lazy or trained not to ask. Or they may assume a customer (like you) wants it fixed ASAP and have no loaners available for that time frame.

Those are just a few of the possibilities. In addition, if they have no loaners available, we can get a rental vehicle and be reimbursed by Lincoln (up to the vehicle cap).

So I find it best to be proactive and not wait for them to offer. Just politely let them know what you need.

Keep us updated and good luck.

Hi there,
Yes will provide update when repair is completed,
This AWD module was recalled for vehicles in USA April 2021 but not vehicles in Canada although they are all built in Louisville Kentucky

I hope they read the codes. I had all those alerts and it was a wheel speed sensor. A few people have had the same thing.

Hi DomDoobie,
My vehicle came with 20” wheels but my winter steel wheels are 18” but no sensors so the tire light is on all winter. Surly a trained mechanic will check all these codes first 🙏

No the wheel speed sensors are different than tire pressure sensors. When a wheel speed sensor is bad you get all the errors you stated and a few others like hill assist not available, your power steering gets tight, traction control unavailable a whole bunch. There’s another thread on here about it. Not saying that’s your problem but it can be. Ask them if they had any codes for wheel speed sensors.

Thanks, will mention this when I drop vehicle off for the repair. Those are the alerts my vehicle is having, anyway apparently they are the technicians,LoL
