2023 Corsair orders, build dates

My order was confirmed on 9/20 and I have only received the confirmation email and an update in December. Clearly they are not processed in the order that they are placed. :(
I have been receiving e-mail updates on build progress same as mpabian.

Are you getting those updates via e-mails from Lincoln or through your dealer? I ordered October 31st and have never been given even one production week update.
I've been getting the production updates through Lincoln directly. Sorry to hear you haven't heard anything, but hopefully things accelerate once units start actually rolling off the assembly lines.

Thanks for responding. I'm getting close to cancelling the order, but I'll give it a little bit longer. Luckily I'm not in desperate need of the vehicle or I definitely would have purchased something else by now.

After multiple delays, my wife's 2023 Corsair Reserve was scheduled for production during the week of February 13.

I just checked the status the order at shop.lincoln.com and noticed the production date has been deleted. Status now says:

"Your Lincoln custom vehicle order is entered in our system and will be scheduled for production at the earliest available opening. Due to high demand and global supply-chain constraints within the automotive industry, vehicle production may be delayed. Once your Lincoln is scheduled for production, we will provide a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and estimated assembly date."

Hopefully, this is a just a glitch in the order-status system. Has anyone else experienced a sudden change in order status?

I saw same thing yesterday evening, suspect another delay
I remember last year I was looking at the Bronco or the Maverick and the Ranger. NONE were available. Same thing orders only. Then they started trickling in like 8 months later. Ranger was the first one to become more readily available. Glad I got the Corsair though. I’ve been a Lincoln buyer for years now. But I like Ford also. But they’re the same company lol

My vehicle still appears in shoplincoln.com. Did not receive an email but production week changed from 2-13, to week of 2-20
Window sticker still available.

Note said last update was today 2-3-2023

In upper right corner of tracking website says due to dealer on 12-29-1989...lol,

I got the same message 2-20-23 with 12-29-89 dealer due date

It's almost like The Three Stooges are in charge of rolling this vehicle out. Unbelievable!

A little bit off the subject here. We hear supply chain issues all the time. How about Texans can’t drive in snow excuse lmao. I ordered K&N air filter a week ago. No one had it local. No shipping yet. Called up…..rep said Texas had a storm and Texans aren’t used to driving in snow. WTF lol. The excuses people come up with now are ridiculous. But people like us….we go to work no excuses. What is this world coming to. Governor of New York introduces legislation to lower speed limit to 20mph. Again WTF lol. I’m going to get an electric scooter that does over 40mph. Pay nothing. Obey no traffic laws like the rest of them and then when the battery dies get in the bus and stare the bus driver down and say got no metro and walk by lol. I know I drove the bus. 87% of the people don’t pay and the MTA cries poverty. Oh yes wait they also introduced legislation to allow speed cameras on bridges and tunnels. Why own a car anymore. You pay through the nose with tax on purchase, registration fees, inspection fees, licensing fees, tax on gas, tolls, red light and speed camera tickets, licensing fees and insurance and you have NO RIGHTS !!!!! This if you waiting……cancel and get an electric scooter or bike. Sorry for the rant

Back to the Future

While no expert I believe dealer allocations plays a large part of scheduling. Geographical location may play a part as well.
Large high volume dealer = more allocations
Small rural dealer = fewer allocations.

This information is known to the dealer. They guard this like its Fort Know gold supply.

It’s like big business. Mom and pop shops are dying and big retailers are flourishing. It’s all about the sales and money. Bottom line
