I had thought there was a thread that already existed on this topic. I did a search for accessories and nothing came up, so I am going to start a new one and hope I am not duplicating a conversation that already exists.

I know we all buy radar detectors and dashcams and little knick-knacks for our vehicles, including trash cans, air fresheners, phone holders, and floor/cargo mats.

Today I received something relatively cool for my 2022 Corsair GT. I wanted to share it with you. Not sure if it's a must-buy kind of thing as it didn't work exactly as I had hoped.

I thought it would be a great idea to have a neck pillow while driving.

This pillow is expensive, but the quality is superb and it looks really classy in the vehicle.

This is the way it is supposed to sit on the seat...

The problem is, I am a short guy, and when I drive, my seat is completely forward

For that reason, my neck doesn't align with this pillow in the driving position. For that reason, I had to move the pillow up the bolster so it looks like this when I am driving...

Not as attractive, but that's only during driving and when I am not in the vehicle it sits in the proper position as shown in the first photo.

I will say it does add a great deal of comfort to my head and next while driving. I wish that for me, it worked better in the position shown in the first photo rather than the second.

Any other electronics or knick-knacks that Corsair owners have bought for their vehicles that they would like to share?

I couldn’t find much either. Wanted a Bra to protect from rock chips…..none. Wanted a bug deflector for hood…..nothing lol. I have the all weather mats. The cargo liner and cargo protector. GF did find some really different mats on Amazon. I threw them over the Lincoln all weather mats. They cover way more even more than weather tech. There selling so many Corsairs IDK why there isn’t more?

Maybe it's the angle of the pic but that looks like it would be terribly uncomfortable. Like it's bending your head forward. lol

I will certainly let you know. I only sat in the vehicle with the headrest for about a minute. It was initially very comfortable, but I am not certain about how I feel regarding the need to adjust its placement. Perhaps it is meant to be adjusted. Everyone's height and the seating position is going to be different.

In any case, I have a 200-mile road trip coming up over the holiday weekend. I'll be certain to come back and let you know if this is something you should consider.

Two exterior items thay I feel are well worth it:
1) Rear bumper guard https://a.co/d/hEijGTr
2) Splash guards/mud flaps https://a.co/d/5xYEMAL
I've bought 2 sets of each because I have 2 '22 Corsairs. The front mud flaps need to be cut slightly to allow for the running board molding on the Reserve and GT. The Standard doesn't require the small cut.

So, not expensive investments. I am probably going to buy both. Have some questions if you don't mind.

1. Concerning the splash guards/mud flaps. How easy is installation? I have very few drilling skills. If it's just a matter of there being holes already drilled on the Corsair and inserting the screw and washer to install, then that would be perfect for me. Is it that easy?

2. What is the purpose of the bumper guard? I know it protects the bumper, but from what, specifically? Are we just talking about small objects like runaway shopping carts?

Thanks for your help with this.

1) I had to drill 2 extra holes in the front to make them more solid. Very easy. The screws were supplied. You do have to trace the ends of the running board moldings onto the front flaps and cut it out before you screw them on. Again, very small and easy.

2) The bumper guard sits on top of the back bumper (with a small lip that wraps around the upper outer edge of the bumper) to protect the top of the bumper from scratches when you are loading and unloading items from the rear. Once installed it looks like the car comes with it.

Good luck.

Bought my GT a few weeks ago. It came with optional both sets of floor mats from the factory. The rubber ones are way better fitting / better looking than anything I have from WeatherTech. I have WeatherTech floor mats for three other cars. They never fit quite as precisely as they advertise. Their cargo mat fits well but they don't make one for the Corsair. I was hoping for their splash guards, but they don't make those either.

Ford / Lincoln ran a 20% off online accessories sale in December. I ordered the cargo mat and cargo cover. Both fit well and look good. The mat comes rolled up in a box but it wasn't rolled smoothly and had some crease marks on edges. I put chip clips on creases for about a week to smooth them out. The cargo cover comes in a plastic bag. Was expecting shipping damage before I opened it, but it was fine. Guess it should hold up well in the car. Need a new dashcam.

When I was preparing my order for the 2022 Corsair GT, I saw that WeatherTech had no product for the GT, but they did have mats for the ICE Corsair. That's the reason I included the optional rubber mats with my order — plus they had the Lincoln logo and Corsair name molded into the mats. As it turned out, I refused delivery on my 2022 GT (it arrived at the dealership the same day as the 2023 Corsair was revealed), but the 2022 GT did come with the special rubber mats.

So when I then ordered my 2023 Corsair GT, I definitely included the Lincoln rubber mat option with my new order. I don't know if it's true, but I read (somewhere) that Lincoln subcontracted with WeatherTech to produce the custom rubber mats for all their models... but it really matters with the Corsair GT.

For what it's worth, I have the WeatherTech mats for my 2016 Lincoln MKC. The WeatherTech mats fit perfectly and were worth every penny. The rest of the WeatherTech product line (e.g., seat covers, cupholder phone mount) is ridiculous... but their mats are awesome.

I worked the subcontracted WeatherTech mats into my sale purchase.

The mats are excellent, as you noted, with the Lincoln emblem and Corsair name molded in.

To follow up on my original post that featured the Lincoln headrest support pillow...

Made an incredible difference in the overall comfort of my 200-mile trip over the weekend.

As I had previously mentioned, it takes a bit of adjusting as in its natural seated position between the chair and headrest, it may not properly align with your neck and head.

In my case, I moved it up the headrest bolster and with a bit of chair recline, lined up nicely with my neck and offered comfortable support.

After a few weeks, I'm less enamored with the Lincoln cargo mat. It still hasn't flattened out, curls up on the sides, the little creases on the front and back have regressed after the initial week of chip clips. The material doesn't grip the carpet as well as WeatherTech cargo mats. WeatherTech seems more rubber-like while the Lincoln is more plastic-like. Unfortunately, WeatherTech only offers a generic cargo mat that you trim with scissors. Doesn't sound like a great idea. Has anybody tried it?

I am really intrigued by that electronic board.

Did you install it yourself? Was it easy enough to install that an idiot like myself could do it?

What functions do you lose over the original overlay, if any?

That's the most incredible thing I have seen in quite some time. I have my wallet standing by...

haha my credit card is ready too! I just saw it and sent a msg to the store asking if they have a video of it running.

From the back of it, it looks like an easy install

I am concerned about prying out the old board and how easy it is to figure out installation from there.

I am a complete novice at this kind of stuff so it has to be damn easy -- not just easy -- to install.

Please share any additional information, JayQ8 you get from the store. Thanks
