Cargo Mat Recommendations

my sales guy said they have them and i needed to call the parts dept. but i wonder if he is thinking its just the small one when the 3rd row is up, as i havent found it anywhere

The link I posted above is for when you have the 3rd seat folded down. Even though it shows the picture behind the 3rd row. Also this shows it will be in black color under the specs from the link. It also comes for behind the 3rd row seats as you see in the picture, but again it is only in black. Our Aviator was supposed to come with the one for behind the 2nd row seats. So the sales person has ordered it for us and should be arriving soon. I will post some pictures if you like. Check the link and you can see under the description that it's for behind the 2nd seat and in black. Also shows that it is on sale for now.

Is this link the one you purchased? I also came across this site but their shipping is very expensive.

The dealer is getting Cargo Area Protector for us at no charge. This was supposed to be included with the car and they lost it somehow. I hadn't checked the shipping but it is very expensive. Maybe checking at the nearest dealer might be cheaper.

Let me know if it protects 3rd row and trunk as I am interested in purchasing this.

Has anyone found a mat that covers the third row aside from the husky one?

Thanks. Was not interested in that one either as I have read that the trim is not very good. However, that might be the only option as the OEM one appears to only cover the trunk. It would be nice if this mat was foldable so that when the third row was flipped up, the liner could fold.

The Husky liner does that.

"CARGO LINER
This cargo liner fits to the back of the 2nd row of seats. It will fold up/down with the 3rd row of seats."

I contacted our sales person yesterday to see what the status is. Hopefully it ships out. I haven't heard back from her yet so hopefully they did ship it out. It was missing when we went to pickup our 23' Aviator at the dealer. They looked everywhere and couldn't find it.

I'm waiting on a 2023 Aviator with a bench 2nd row. I'm looking for a mat to cover the cargo area all the way to behind the first row. Has anyone seen such a thing?

Is this the one you're referring to? https://www.huskyliners.com/WeatherBeater-Floor-Mats/2021/lincoln/aviator What is the overall opinion on this brand? I'm not too familiar and have seen mixed feedback. Do they stand by their product?
Yes, that's the one. I haven't used that particular one, just the full cargo liner that wasn't designed like that. Any time I've had to order liners I went with Husky mainly because they provided more overall protection for the front footwells than WeatherTech. I also had one for the cargo area which I sold when I changed vehicles. I've never had any issues with the products so I can't really comment on "Do they stand behind their product". I'm sure that they are no different than WeatherTech in that regard.

  • The presence of spikes may damage the carpet underneath. The spikes on the raised edges can also scratch the rim’s plastic.
Have you noticed any issues with the spikes? I feel like if the purpose is to prevent the carpet from getting destroyed, this could cause issues.

I have the Husky liner. I don't use the 3rd row much at all. But in the event I do, I am happy the liner allows for the seats to be raised individually. The liner also stays in place well with little or no slippage. If I had a gripe, it would be the thickness. It isn't that thick and can appear to be flimsy. But I knew that going in and it is exactly what I expected and does what I need it to do.
