My Lincoln
AVIATOR GRAND TOURING 2021
Does anyone know if you can switch out the center console of a Lincoln aviator grand touring to the floor model? I don't mind paying, just making sure its possible- I have kids that need to be able to walk through...

Welcome to the Forum Tina. 👋
I'm not aware of anyone that has done that modification. Seeing as how the floor model is the standard console, I'm guessing that it might be possible.

Peter
Thank you for your response.

That's the reason I didn't buy a Black Label. All that I could find available were with the bigger console. I wanted to take out the short one too and just leave it blank for my dog.

I couldn't find the Black Label on the Build & Price tool. They had a Grand Touring 1 and shows the full console as an option.

Too funny - that's the exact same reason I did NOT want the full sized console (in our case grandkids). If they swap it for you - PM me. When my grandkids are older I may offer you some money to take it off your hands!

More too funny - I was going to look into that for the same reason as well! I can't imagine it's a challenge.

If you're interested - PM me your email address and I'll send you the a photo of the piece I made to span between the middle row seats so when we travel the middle row seats are folded down and that entire row is now a full width deck (ike the rear bench). It was a simple cut of plywood with a hinge and support piece, followed up with carpet on the top and velcro to attach to the adjoining seats. There's a picture of it in a prior post (can't remember which one). it works out well.

EDIT - I just went and found the prior post: Hauling dogs?
