Another question for those of you who have used the X plan for your purchase. When you took delivery, was the x plan price based on the price the vehicle was at the time you ordered it or was it based on the price when you took delivery? This is for those that took delivery after they increased the Base Price.

Hi PGood. Lincoln/Ford have price protection on factory orders. That means the vehicle price should be what it was at the time the order was placed and accepted by Lincoln/Ford. And that applies to AXZ-Plan purchases also.

If for some reason there is a problem, the Dealer simply needs to contact Lincoln/Ford to have the price corrected.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I wonder if I can find that listed online somewhere. I asked my sales rep today and he said that the x plan price will be based on the price that is on the invoice when the car is delivered. I am hoping that isnt the case as it's about 2k ish different. When I look at the buyers order I signed at time of ordering, it does have a terms and condition that lists that if the manufacturer charges the dealer more for the vehicle, then the dealer can adjust the price accordingly,

Hi PGood. If a vehicle was retail ordered by a customer before a price increase is implemented, the Dealership simply needs to apply to Lincoln/Ford for price protection on the ordered vehicle.

Although a dishonest Dealership may try to charge you for the price increase, they will not be paying Lincoln/Ford for the price increase.

Keep us updated and good luck.

That’s very interesting bc my window sticker, that I just was able to access, is almost 2k more than what I was quoted.

Unless you are in a buyback from Lincoln like I was, as bbf stated, you will be price protected from when you ordered.

Thanks for the offer, the Lincoln tracking site finally started working for me this weekend and mine is in production and I have a window sticker. :)
Another way of checking your build completion:

Paste your VIN at this website:

If you see module numbers popping up, your built is complete and standing somewhere. Also download Lincoln App and have your vin in there. Once the "Activate vehicle appears" its alive!!

I never got a tracker from Lincoln so calling out my dealer time to time and lincoln concierge, found these other means to track while browsing

Do you have any update? I think I speak for most of us when I say that we are all anxiously awaiting your upcoming arrival.
Mine was built and finished on Apr 12th and I am still waiting for it to arrive at my dealer. Extremely disappointed.

Thanks! Once I activate on the app, I can track its location too. :)

Last week my window sticker was available, this week it says not available! RUT ROH. Wonder what's going on? My base price did show a the 2K increase from when I ordered also. Hoping the ordered price will be respected

Hi KL. My advice would be...Don't "Hope". Speak to the Sales Manager at your Dealership now (preferably in person), instead of waiting until your vehicle arrives and the urge to have it immediately overcomes common sense. ;)

In this way, you will have them on notice that you are aware of the price protection policy, and that they need to do whatever they need to do to ensure it is applied to your vehicle sale.

Let us know how you make out and good luck. 🍻

Great advice, I just spoke with them and they said no problem I am price protected.

Sent an email to dealer today expressing concern to the price change. I just got a reply stating I am price protected. Thx bbf for the info so that I could reply to them.

Anyone else had an issue of driving and the screen reboots, and then the running boards setting goes to OFF? I have had that twice in the last day or so. And, the first time, all my "Show on map" nav settings got wiped out.

I wonder if that ground screw is loose at the passenger kick panel location. There is a plastic flap door to the fuse block.

Worth looking to see if it tight or not.

Thanks. If it happens again, I will check that. I guess that involves removing that panel?
