2022 Navigator

Thanks, I had seen in post that I quoted that this individual had found a dealer where they lived honoring the X Plan. I am in the Portland OR area and so far the 2 local dealers are saying no. Their allocations are supposedly low so they do not wish to use one on a not full price sale. Heck for the money saved, I could ship the car to my house after purchasing from a dealer that will honor the plan practically anywhere in the US. Cheers

Hi KL. If you are trying to purchase from Dealer stock, you will have this problem in many Dealerships.

However, if you have the time to factory order your Navigator and wait for delivery, many/most (but not all) Lincoln Dealers will accept X-Plan PINS, since retail/factory orders do not count towards Dealer allocation.

If no one here can provide a suitable Dealership for you, calling Dealerships in a widening circle from where you live would be your best bet.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Hello, New on this forum.

I ordered MY22 Nav BL and just got the production date of 2/21. However, the dealer does not have detail information about the options (or they are not sharing). Is there an order guide someone can share?

Also they removed the Rear Ent. Option, not available due to chip shortage. (has anyone been able to order 22 with Rear Ent.?) I guess I am installing a VOXX after market system! Not happy ;-(

When did you order, and what priority code?

Yep, the dang chip shortage is affecting all manufacturers. I guess they figure people would rather get the vehicle earlier than have the easy entry. I know I would. I hardly ever use it on my 2020, and it is difficult to use anyway. But I get it.

Similar system is on my current 18 Expedition Platinum, it is not touch screen and difficult to use. The new ones are touch screen with streaming/FireTV. Much better, I wish it was 12" like GMs.... but now we cannot even get the 10', so it does not matter I guess !!!

2022 BL with all options, Whtie/chalet Order is Priority code 19 (whatever that means!?)

Is there an order guide available online ? I see people are referencing it in this forum...

Hi mm. Here is the Dealer Order Guide for the 2022 Navigator. Keep in mind this is simply the full Order Guide. It does not include information as to what options and features may have commodity restraints or other limitations.

On that same subject: Not sure what you meant when you say the Dealer said they do not have "detail information". What "detail information" can they not supply? How can they take an order and if they don't have "detail information" (a rhetorical question). They have this Order Guide (and possibly/probably even an updated one), and should be able to tell you what the available options are and what commodity constraints are currently in place. Of course, they can not predict what may happen a week from now, but they know what the order limitations currently are.

Anyway, hope this helps, keep us updated and good luck.

Dumb question- how did you get your build date?

Hi slingha. Any competent Dealer can supply the build date, once it has been scheduled by Lincoln/Ford.

Good luck.

Competent being the operative word. I ordered mine the day the order bank opened. I knew more about the vehicle than they did. When I mentioned Sync 4 they tried correcting me saying it would be Sync 3…

If they are that bad, make sure you aren't getting a 2021.

Just kidding, you couldn't order a '21 once the '22 banks opened.

To be fair, they do have to know about every single model and trim. Daunting, perhaps, but I hear what you are saying. I usually know more about the vehicle I want than the average salesperson.

It’s a 22 although you did make me go pull my paperwork to be triple sure.

I have read on blue oval forum that Job 1 for the 2022 is supposed to be Jan 18, but IO just saw this pic and a few others on a FB page. Definitely appears to be 2022 Navigators here.

Edit: Disregard. The person who took the pic said a window sticker said not for sale/show vehicles. Darn lol.

Interestingly, in that photo at the end of the lines, theres 2 covered up suvs. It's kinds weird that only 2 suvs would be covered up while the others are just chilling unless they are hiding something with those two. Am I reaching?

You probably have your build date so no need to worry.

Perhaps just shipping plastic?

If so, I am not aware. No VIN yet.

You probably have the production date (scheduled production Slot), but no VIN will be issued until very close to production date. I believe production time/cycle is about 3 days from start to finish. This was my experience when I ordered BMW X5s from SC Plant (production for X5 was 26 hours). Dealer is telling me 4-6 weeks delivery once the car is manufactured. I really hope they are wrong.

I hope they move up my schedule (Feb 21), my 2018 Expedition Plat. is out of warranty ((67K) and start having issues, hope Navigator does better with quality on 4th year in production, but all the parts I had issue with are identical with Navi!

-- Couple of random check engine lights, disappeared by itself, Loose Sensor?
-- Heater lines start leaking ($850 Dealer / $450 local Mech.) This would have been covered under Lincoln power train Warranty. but not Ford
--Windshield washer stopped working ($TBD)

You are not correct. 2/21 build date and I have a vin.

When did you place your order? Mine was placed right around the time they order bank opened, just spoke with my dealer and none of their orders have been scheduled yet. Also, do you mind sharing where you are located? Just trying to piece things together. Thank you!
