1979 Lincoln Mark V Neutral Safety Switch

Hello,

I'm bringing a 79 Mark V back to life. She's got a column shifter. I'm finally ready to crank the engine and it doesn't go. I've got it pinned to the Neutral Safety Switch - but I can't find the damn thing. I looked on the side of the transmission near the kick-down, it doesn't appear to be there. I've ripped the dash apart and looked up and down the steering column - still don't see anything! Am I blind?

Can anyone help? I can't even find the part on Rock Auto or similar for reference..

Plot twist... Column shifters don't have them..
