• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1998 Town Car" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1998 Town Car" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Since I just bought a new MKC and have Roadside Assistance, do I really need to renew my AAA membership?

I don't use it for trip planning, shopping bargains, or anything else -- have been carrying it in case I need a tire change, a tow, or in case I lock myself out.
The new subscription is $71.00, and I'm thinking I can drop it.

Is there really any reason to keep it?

I am not certain what the benefits are of either service. I do believe that if your car needs to be towed using Roadside Assistance, the tow company can only tow your vehicle to an authorized Ford or Lincoln dealer. I assume (since I have never had it) that AAA will tow you to your choice of locations. ?? You might want to look closer at the fine print for both services before you make a final decision. :)

Your auto insurance covers the tow if an accident occurs, roadside assist for all other issues. The only place that I would take a new MKC would be the dealer. a flat tire could be fixed anywhere besides the Ford dealer. I was unable to get road hazard warranty on the tires that came with the purchase of the NEW vehicle from the dealer. Dealer service agent said, "only available on purchase of new tires". JEC
