What do you put in the lower space in the center console?

I'm trying to figure out what to put in the open space below the center console on my '13 Hybrid. I want to store something there, but I'm afraid it will fall off while driving. There's also a concern that whatever is there is visible from outside the car. So what do you put there?

Bottled water square bottles so they dont roll around... and a screen cleaning cloth and few packs of mints... The storage area is not the easiest place to get your hands in and out you need to be double jointed

keep a neck pillow in there for traveling along with a small camera for quick spur of the moments shots. As the others have mentioned ,a cleaning cloth, and any thing else you do not use daily but would like close to where you can reach it. It makes for a great storage area and is very useful. You could even keep a first aid kit there. There is even enough room to store your super hero outfit.

The owners manual. There is so much technology, even after 4 months, I still have to look things up!

I also keep a stylus there to use on the touch screen. Cuts down on finger prints!

And, you can not take the Linclon GPS on an airplane anywhere.....

I write estimates on the road and store all the blank estimates and permit application paper forms in this area, it's perfect for that purpose.

I now put my dads collapsible umbrella in there. Very handy for rainy days, not that we get many of those in this drought.
