Water Leak under middle of car 1999 Town Car

Hi Community,
We could really use your help! We have water leaking under our car, in the middle and back towards firewall. Filled radiator up with water and 3 days later we have to fill it up again. We cannot figure out where the leak is coming from. It is not the radiator, do to the location of the water puddle under car. We are elderly, worked all of our lives in the boat business and are somewhat mechincally inclined. Any and all help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jerry and Family

Based on the type of power train, (RWD) and your description there are a couple of possibilities.

Heater core leaking (Or hoses to the heater core)
Or an engine core plug leaking.

The Ford modular engine family (including yours) are a cast iron block with massive aluminum alloy heads. The coolant type and frequency of replacement are critical.
The type or kind of coolant to be used is shown in the owners manual. Frequently it is not the green stuff.
Contrary to the owners manual I would recommend changing every 30,000 to 40,000 miles. The owners manual is going to specify 60,000 to 75,000 miles.
