Vehicle Dynamic Module white vs gray connector

Hey are there any air ride gurus out there that know the difference between a vehicle dynamics module with a white or gray connector? I am going to a junk yard this week to try and find a new old one for my 2000. I assume the gray might be for cars with the adjustable ride option which mind does not have, I only have air ride. But I wish I knew if they were interchangeable so I could just get the first one I see.

Hmm I might be answering my own question here but if what I am guessing above is true, then the one might work in the place of the other but the computer might throw a bunch of codes or do nothing because it is not getting the inputs from the sensors that would be used in the full adjustable ride system.
