I’m thinking about trading in my 2023 Aviator for a 2026 Navigator. Any advice on what options to include in the order and is the Black Label worth the extra cost?

Depends on the features you want and if you want the nicer Interior touches. I personally dont think the black label is worth the 10k delta when the reserve has everything as well and the seats dont feel any different.

Like @dlcorbett, I did not see the value of the Black Label for the additional cost when I bought my 2024.

The options I wanted on the Reserve L model that I was looking for at the time were the 8-passenger 40/20/40 2nd row bench seat, HD Towing Package and the Luxury Package Equipment Group 201A. As a bonus, the one I found had the monochromatic package included as well. Virtually the same equipment as the Black Label alternative minus the exclusive interior and special exterior colors.

If I were shopping for a new model I would opt for same options but with the Jet Appearance Package. Your vehicle use and personal taste may vary.

Thanks - you confirmed what I was thinking. I couldn’t see the value in the Black Label.

Thanks for the advice. I’m going to take another look at the Jet Black Appearance Package.

You can get the jet pkg on almost any color, it adds black wheels, and full.led lighting in the front. For 2026, you can get a lighter color for the interior and it comes with the black roof as well.

Went with Black Label because I wanted the different leather color, 2nd row center console seat setup, and maintenance. All those are a fair price. YOLO.

While subjective, most would probably agree that the Black Labels have nicer interior leathers, wood, and the suede headliner. Not sure if the BL still has the Premium Maintenance and free car washes, etc. There is value in those things. Subjective, of course.

BL comes with maintenance (4 total visits over 50,000 miles). We ended up with a new BL vs Reserve because of the 30-way seats. Having the headrests and the upper shoulder area be fully adjustable were a requirement, and those are only on the BL. Otherwise there's no real value that I could find.

Don’t skip the HD Tow package - it adds the two-speed transfer case which gives you “Slow Climb” mode. Wouldn’t get it without the 201A either. Also don’t forget to pick up the Ford all-weather mats for all three rows and the back, as well. The blackout package is sweet, too - very stealthy look with decent wheels.
