two months ago a bought a 2016 fwd 2.0 Lincoln MKC. It has a harsh 2nd to 3rd shift especially at low speed it bangs sometimes. After 2 oil changes and no improvement it occurred to me testing the tranny in sport manual mode and noticed that when I shift from 2 to 3 it has a slight delay and its harsh compared to all other gears. I'm inclined to replace the solenoid pack. since I learned its a common procedure in these cars. So my question in this forum would be: is there enough space to do this without having to drop the tranny?
