THX System Flaps SAT Button

Hello. I bought a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr from my sister a few days ago. It has the THX Nav system, but no satellite. I wanted to add bluetooth so that I could play music via my iPhone, and I ended up installing a module from GromAudio. The module says it will work w/ Lincoln Zephyrs.

So, I removed the dash (huge pain), and installed the module to the satellite port (the instructions direct you to just disconnect - and leave the satellite disconnected when using the GromAudio interface). When the car restarted and the THX system came back online, I saw a "SAT" button under the "Media" button. I was able to pair my phone w/ the bluetooth module, and was able to hear audio come through the speakers briefly.

Then, the SAT button would appear, disappear, appear, disappear, etc (and the audio would stop). A message on the THX system said "SAT connection error... Contact Dealer." I'm 99.9% sure I installed the module correctly (I'm an engineer by trade, and I was able to get bluetooth through the speakers briefly).

I'm wondering if I need to program the THX system to enable the SAT functionality? If so, how do I do that? Is there some firmware I can download and apply myself?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
