Posting under Corsair since I drive one, but could be applicable to other models, but is anyone having trouble with Sync screen and iOS 26? In the past week several times I have noticed CarPlay connects then immediately locks up. Sometimes it resolves after several minutes but tonight it did not. When I disconnected CarPlay the Sync screen remained frozen and I could not get my heated seat off high—not fun. ChatGPT said to reboot your Sync screen while driving, press and hold right arrow/next track button with the power volume button for 10 seconds. We tried that with no luck. Anyone experience this? Any remedies? I feel like the hardware/software in car needs a hard boot/cache cleared, something to refresh (not just turning off vehicle). Prior to new iPhone iOS 26 I rarely had the Sync screen freeze up. Something somewhere is not playing nice, software wise… ah, technology!

Hi GO. The SYNC reset and Master Reset procedures vary by SYNC version.

My recommendation would be: To ensure you are following the proper procedure for your vehicle and SYNC version, check your Owners Manual for the proper reset procedure for your particular version.

If that doesn’t work, you can try a battery disconnect for 10+ minutes.

However, before doing that, I would think about scheduling a service appointment, instead of putting reset band-aids on it. In this way, any underlying issues can be corrected while hopefully still under warranty.

I’m sure others will also jump in to help, so keep us updated and good luck.
