Sync 3 update

I have a 2017 MKZ reserve and have tried to get an update for the navigation map online. Can't log in to lincoln.owner.com, it just rolls on and on. The current version that came with it is V 1 15, the current version is V 4 Gen3; and the dealer wants $99.00 to install it. Purportedly, it can be downloaded online from lincoln. owner.com for $60.00 for another one year subscription but I was unable to log in or create a new account.

Anybody have an ideal to remedy this?

Well after an hour on the phone with the Concierge and tech people, the bottom line is that you cannot upgrade online you MUST go through a dealer.
You can connect an iphone or an android, download the Auto play app from Apple or Play Store for your respective phone; and then use Google Map. Works great. You must connect with the USP that came with your device for it to work though. You can run several of the different apps from your phone, photos, music, weather, etc., too.

I am going to do away with "My Lincoln" app, it works really poor for me. The people on the Concierge service are really nice, polite, and above all helpful.
