My 2007 had a problem with subwoofer not working, especially with cold weather. It used to pop rhythmically with increasing tempo, then finally kick in and work (most of the time). This was a quick and easy fix. Remove hinge/motor carpet cover in the trunk. Remove back seat, pop one C pillar trim piece (don't need to do both sides), remove deck cover, four nuts hold the subwoofer assembly to the sheet metal deck. Back to trunk, remove two wiring harnesses on amp, and four T-15 screws to remove amp from sub assembly. T-10 screws hold the amp covers together. Clean w/ IPA, flux, reflow solder, clean w/ IPA.
After the repair, I put the amp in my freezer for an hour, then tested it. Fired right up, good to go.
