Strange behavior after maintenance and maintenance questions 2001 Town Car

I'd like to start this post with that I recently changed my spark plugs, the coils for each plug, and the battery. Went fairly well and was a lot of fun. Have had no more misfires or issues. However, for whatever reason when I turn the lights on they will stay on until the keys are taken out. Previously when I would turn off the lights I would just move the dial to the center, but now that does not turn the lights off until the battery is not engaged. Its not an issue just something strange I noticed. Same with the dial being pressed in now turns on the dome lights, which did not happen before.

The questions I do have relate to some maintenance that needs to be done. The heat no longer works and of course when summer hits that won't be much of an issue, but do you all have any advice on what to do about that or any of your own stories? The ac works, the car never overheats (its honestly beautiful how consistently normal it is), and when you try to blow heat at best it can be described as room temperature air even at engine operating temp. I have also noticed my windshield washer sprayers do not work. The tank has fluid and when you go to spray fluid the wipers will move, but the sprays do not spray anything. Thoughts? Block in the line? Fuse issue?

Just wanted to share and see if you all had any quick and dirty thoughts or advice.

The heat issue may be caused by a plugged heater core, my suggestion would be to flush the entire system including your heater core , you'll be surprised what comes out of there in 20+ years of service. As for your windshield washer fluid, could be a block in the line, a broken line, bad spray motor, or an electrical issue. I would start from easiest(cheapest) and go from there.

The windshield washer spray motor in mine quit. I rapped it with the handle of a screwdriver and it started working again, for some months, anyway. After doing that a couple times I bought a new motor at the auto parts store, cheap and easy to install.
