Steering Seats door switches and interior door handle Swap

I have 04 town car. I would like to know if its possible to replace the steering wheel with a one from 05 or above.
my driver side seat is not working. I found a 02 lincoln in the scrapyard with working seats is a swap possible? Can master window/door switches and handles be replaced with former or later models or from a crown victoria?

man the older model steering wheels are much more comfortable to rest your hand on while driving,why would you want to change it to the newer one?

Toygar has got an excellent point, if the wheel has a lot of wear on it, then you can take it to an upholstery shop and they can recover it for you, but if that's the case, then there's no need to replace the whole wheel
