SSM 53329 2024-2025 Nautilus - Front Brake Noise (new)

Ford has so many quality problems this year it's unbelievable. Something like 100 recalls and 1.5 million vehicles. They can't seems to get out of their own way. This does t count the non recall issues. I bet this rotor problem is at the bottom of their list.

I will think long and hard before I buy another Ford product. Not because of the issues but rather their inability to deal with them.

At first the Nautilus felt premium but now after 8 months I’m not so sure Lincoln is a premium car. I have rattling everywhere, leather is wearing, the build quality just doesn’t seem there. Worried about the long term with this car. Seriously looking to trade it in but don’t want to take a huge hit just yet.

This is massively disappointing to hear. Class action lawsuit?
I a told the proper fix has been instituted in the 26 MY production.
Parts for retro fit 24/25 should be available by end of December.
Fingers crossed.

Can I ask how many miles? What leather is wearing for you?

I’m pretty “gentle” getting in and out. My explorer is 3 years and the seats look brand new still.
I have a service appointment next week and they will be checking it. They know I’m not too happy with it, it was a very cold morning and the drive in was full rattles and creaks. I’ve found a few of them but my fix is to stuff it with paper towels 😁

Yep, ditto! Somehow, disc brakes are a brand new technology that is still working out the kinks in materials and specification?! WTH.....
It's Deja vu. I came from a Subaru Ascent to my 2025 Nautilus. The Ascent has similar problems and it took Subaru about four different fixes to get it right.

What trim level do you have?
The premier models do not actually have leather seats. They call it "soft touch material"
Reserve gets leather trimmed seats and the Black label gets the premium leather. I'm not sure if the upgraded reserve perfect position seats upgrade materials but the seating surface and trim does appear to be all leather in mine.

All my previous Ford vehicles with "leather" did not hold up well. 2011 edge sport had passenger seat replaced under warranty and developed a crack in the drivers seat at 6 years. My 2019 edge ST also developed a crack on the drivers seat at year 4 and the steering wheel started peeling.

I have the Reserve, we don’t have the black label here. The whole seats appear to be the same material.
