New member - first post...of course it's a question. :)
I just purchased a 2014 MKT w/Ecoboost and really love the vehicle so far, though it's only been about 3 weeks.
It's "Certified" and currently has about 32K on it.

It has LED lights on the mirrors that function/flash when I lock it with the remote, or do a remote start, but they do NOT flash when using either turn signal.
The turn signals work fine in the front and rear, just not the mirrors. I would assume they were faulty except they work fine otherwise.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

(I do have the full + extended (comprehensive) warranty, but haven't asked the dealer about it.)

Thanks in advance for any input!
It's a pleasure to be here.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I don't have an MKT myself. Are you sure the LED lights in the mirrors are supposed to flash when signaling? If so, it does seem odd that the lights work but don't flash... I'm thinking maybe they're not supposed to...

Yes, they're supposed to flash with the turn signal. At least mine do. Did you actually put a turn signal on and step outside the vehicle for a good look. You wont see them flashing from inside the car.

All's well that ends well! Thank you, Dave!
