Replace factory radio in my 2002 lincoln blackwood

Dear human beans,
has anyone out there in lincoln land replaced a 2002 lincoln black wood factory radio with a aftermarket double din touchscreen car stereo radio ???? If so how did u get the factory installed 6 cd changer to work with it ??? I don't know if i should try to install it myself or get a professional car stereo installer to do it ??? Any suggestions would be helpful; thank u.

I didn’t bother with trying to connect the CD changer. I have all my CD’s loaded into my iTunes app. Apple Car Play. GOOD to go.
