Recommendation for replacement headlights?

I need to replace the headlights on my 2003 Town Car. As the originals are out of production, can someone recommend a good aftermarket brand? The last ones I got have only lasted about 6 years.

BTW, looking at ebay and other places, it seems like they changed something on the headlights for the 2005 and later models. Anyone know what the difference is?

Hi Wayne. Just an option, since you don’t mention why you need to replace the headlight housings: If you are replacing them because the lenses are hazy/dull (?), have you considered having them professionally cleaned/polished, or purchasing a high quality DIY kit and cleaning them yourself?

It will be far less expensive than replacement units.

I’m sure others will also jump in to help, so keep us updated and good luck.

I've had good luck with TYC that I bought from RockAuto.

In 2005 the wiring for the cornering lamp circuit was changed.

Unfortunately, the body-to-light assembly rubber gasket is giving up, so I need to replace them. Doesn’t make sense to refurb them in this case.

Not sure I understand and getting or making a gasket may be a solution.
