On Monday I received a message that a software update for Google automotive services was completed. Unfortunately, since that time, Apple CarPlay will not load in my car. I’ve deleted and then added my phone again. It l will connect to everything (phone, texts, music (although it won’t play any music through speaker) except media- just spins and spins and then goes back to Bluetooth settings screen to start over again.
Anyone else have this problem? I’ve turned my phone off and rebooted. Have tried everything at least 3x, hoping that all of a sudden it will work.
Very frustrated. I’ve had my Lincoln little over a month and have had battery die due to software problem, the fuel injectors replaced due to the issues with the hybrid, had the infotainment system come on and stay on blank (unchanged turning car on and off), eventually a reset of the system fixed it, the breaks still make grinding sounds and Lincoln has no fix right now- and now this. I also had a problem with the gears not switching out of Park up even tho I was pressed reverse and and then drive. Was “locked in park” even tho I had my foot on break and car was on. Had to shut car off and turn back on. I love the idea of this car if it works properly, but I am starting to regret buying it since I have never had issues like this with my bmws or Mercedes (first time Lincoln buyer here).
Any suggestions for the Apple carplay problem? Am I just this unlikely and got a lemon (which I mostly paid cash for
