Problem with top of liftgate letting in bugs

Just curious if anyone else has liftgate issues. Not sure why, but mud dobbers are going in at the top of liftgate and building nests. Horrible to deal with but have been told there is no "fix" and not a warranty issue. The 2018 MKX we traded for this 2020 Nautilus sat in our same garage and did not have this happen. We are stumped.

Yes. Definitely bugs building nests are not covered under warranty. Try some Bug repellant.

The liftgate is not on square. Larger margins upper left and lower right. Narrow margins upper right and lower left. Also there is a black rubber piece just under the liftgate at the top that lacks two inches reaching the ends of what it's attached to. Can someone please check their 2020 Nautilus and see if that is the same as they have. Thanks. Appreciate any and all help.
