Power liftgate not opening

I am not sure what happened but my liftgate no longer work. It no longer open. Does anybody here knows how to manually open it or fix the issue. Thank you

Don't know of any manual release. My first thought is to look for the fuse that handles it in your owners manual & check it.

I have checked and replaced both fuses but i still cannot open it.
I think the design was dumb not having manual just in case electronics failed

Not sure what year MKT you have but I have a 2014 and there is a button for the liftgate just under the molding near the top of the license plate. Even if it won't open electrically perhaps it will at least unlock it.

What model is your MKT?

I think that button on the rear bumper should at least release it.
