I am parting out an entire 1972 Mark IV starting the last week in October 2023.
The entire vehicle should be disassembled by the end of the year.

If you have any interest message me.
The location is Phoenix AZ near the airport.

The hood would be $100. (All major bolted on sheet metal - fenders, doors and deck lid are $100 each)
Pick up would be the best option.
Shipping it would be far more than the cost of the part.

I will post under hood pics shortly.

It is a bit dirty under the hood.
The AC compressor is the Ford version of the Frigidaire A-6

The vehicle was part of an estate sale and this ride did not sell. Multiple times.
I picked it up from the estate about a month ago.
It was restored some time ago and has sat outside for a couple of decades. A good deal of money was spent by the previous owner. Some of that work was done poorly. (much of the body repairs and the color change) Other things rather well.
The metal areas behind the roof and under the vinyl roof have rust. A small area is rusted and has peeling body filler.
The vinyl roof is sun beat and bleeding mold or rust from underside.
I do not have a title either.

It was reported that it did not run. (dead battery)
The battery did come up when I charged it. The engine cranked well and did not start because of the non-stock carb. Fuel gets to the carb. The carb just does not pass gasoline to the engine. Not sure if float is stuck or ???? The engine did fire when fuel was splashed into the carb.
Tires are old.
Most of the plastic instrument panel pieces are sun damaged
Likely will need a several thousand dollars to get it to a good condition and remove the non-stock items.

I have 6 hobby cars and 3 drivers. I am not looking for another vehicle.
The condition I got the car was that it would NOT be crushed. I made a promise not to do that.
It will live on in other vehicles across the globe.

Damn Rust! That can really complicate taking a car in current condition to somewhere nice enough to keep for a driver.

Unlike Northern cars, this rust is all around the roof.
While the vinyl roof is in poor condition, (sun damage) I believe it was replaced at some point. And not well done. Moisture is trapped with rust stains bleeding through in the top front and around the rear windshield.

I have lived in the desert too long to deal with rust.

Is the power brake booster and master cylinder still available?

Yes.
$60 plus shipping. Or you can pick up in Phoenix

It is still on the car and worked when the vehicle was taken out of service.
It will be a few days before I can remove these.
If you are interested, message me

Yes, I am interested. Would it be too much trouble to send some pictures? The reason I ask is that the one I'm trying to replace had a leak between the master cylinder and the booster, which caused some severe rust and ate up the booster pretty bad. I think it would be easier to replace the one I have rather than trying to repair the rust. I'm trying to get the car back to show shape, so if the one you have doesn't have any rust, it would be a good replacement. Thanks!

There is some rust on the right lower side. Does not look like it came from the MC.
I can get a closer shot of that later when I change into other clothes and get into the engine compartment.

My guess is I will have your pieces off next week.
I hope you are not in a hurry
