I bought a new 2024 Lincoln Navigator and it did not have an Owner’s Manual. The salesman told me they don’t come with one because it’s on the infotainment screen. I was wondering if that is true; anyone buy a 2024 with a Owner’s Manual?

Hi dbailey63. Yes, it is true. Hard copies in new vehicles are a disappearing breed.

As you were told, the Owners Manual is available on the infotainment system. Also via the LincolnWay app on your phone. And various other places online, such as the Lincoln Owners website (you can download the PDF version).
You can also ask the dealership to order you a hard copy, although it is likely you will need to pay for it.

Ok, but I need the Owners Wallet card with the 5 digit factory code for the Keyless entry on the drivers door. What should I do?

Hi dbailey63. The dealership should have provided that card to you on delivery, along with the 2 key fobs. Didn’t they do that?

If they did not, contact them and ask for it.

You can also access the 5 digit factory code using your two key fobs, the key fob slot in your Navigator, and the driver information center.

The instructions are in the Owners Manual (sorry about that).

EDIT-Also just as an FYI: The Factory code card does not come in the Owners Manual from the factory. Some dealers may stick it in there, but the Owners Manual does not come with it in there.

I figured it out, got the code off of the infotainment system, and wrote it down in 4 different places, thanks! I will ask the dealer to order me an Owners Manual.

Hi LincolnJoey. Yes, others have said the same.

At this point, it seems to be hit or miss. Almost seems as though there is a shortage of printed manual deliveries to the factory/dealerships, so they give one when available, and don’t when there is a shortage.
Perhaps only until the contractual obligation between Lincoln/Ford and the Owners Manual printer/supplier has expired? Only a wild guess.

However, Lincoln/Ford have made it clear that printed Owner Manuals are being phased out in favor of the manuals available through the infotainment system and online/downloaded PDF versions.

I use both the printed and PDF versions, so I disagree with the elimination policy. But they did not ask me for my opinion.

Didn’t come w/my 2022 Aviator Grand Touring so I called concierge & begged them to get me one. Dealer parts dept ordered. Took a few wks to get. FYI, the case the manual goes in needs to be ordered sep. I didn’t get that. Trying to read a manual online is crazy

I bet they lost it, and are BS you. It’s should have had a case, various warranty books, tire book, manual and door programming key.
