Has anyone experienced the touch sensor overhead light coming on randomly ? Mine intermittently comes on by itself.

I had that problem, but it hasn’t happened since some software updates were applied.

Yes! I have a 2020 Corsair and the overhead light, on the driver's side, will randomly come in. Sometimes I'll have to turn it off a few times before it acts right.
No idea why but I haven't had a chance to du the update so I'll try that and let you know if it fixes it.

My 2020 corsair had the same problem. The passanger sid would randomly come on for no reason

In my case it is the passenger side.

both sides on my 2021 come on

there is a old thread here about and apparently the fix is a new assembly

It was a $800 dealer repair quote a couple months to me

I took care of the problen....Traded it in for a 2023 corsair standard with 102a package.

My 2023 Reserve does the same thing but mine is a COVID era build. The electronics in these vehicles suck. The dealer and the Lincoln help line have no solution.

A 2023 should still be under warranty. Take it in and have it replaced. So long as the problem can be replicated, it should be very easy to diagnose, write up, and send a request to Lincoln for warranty work.

It is under warranty but as the dealer told me they will not replace it unless they can actually see it malfunctioning. The last time it did it I was no where near a Lincoln dealer.

Yeah. Unfortunately that IS the rule (Im a Service Advisor). If we cant duplicate the problem, we cant write a ticket for warranty, (Well we CAN, but when we send the part in, and it gets tested, if we dont have proof (IE Video of it doing it) then they can charge the dealership for the cost of the part and we have to eat the labor cost.) so if its not constantly duplicatable, Id recommend taking video of it malfunctioning. Itll be evidence it is malfunctioning and we can open a work order and send it up the chain for warranty approval.

I will try to do the video thing. I didn't give them any static about it as I was a service advisor way back in the mid 80's at a Honda dealer and an Audi dealer but only lasted about 2 1/2 years at it. I raised the issue yesterday when I visited the local dealer to find that the latest software updates are not yet available for the 2023 model year (only 2024 and 2025) to hopefully fix the myriad of electronics problems in my Corsair , and they were out of wiper blades. :-(

Hi 427CobraJet. Try Rock Auto (and/or other online sources) for the Motorcraft wiper blades.

I have usually purchased my Motorcraft blades from them for several years now. Even with shipping, their total price is usually lower than my local Lincoln and Ford dealers will offer (they generally offer list/MSRP or only slightly lower when asked).

Except this last time, when one of my local Ford Dealers did beat the online/shipped price (by a dollar) when I asked. 😂

And as a general rule for everyone to keep in mind: Remember that dealer parts pricing (and labor rates) are negotiable at most dealerships. So it never hurts to ask for a better price.

Hope this helps and good luck.
