Just a friendly public service announcement. I found this gold mine of a website yesterday.

Scroll down and click the "Access through your library" button. If you have a library card and your library subscribes to the service, it's a great resource. All the years, all the cars. Wiring diagrams, maintenance schedules, recalls, repair procedures (of course), labor book rates, and more.

Ah, come on man. I was expecting this comment. It's really much better than the printed Chilton books.

About 3 or 4 decades ago I stopped using aftermarket manuals.
I got in trouble on a job because the aftermatket manual was missing specific detail on the job I was doing. It was too generic and I wasted about 3 hours of work time thinking about how I did the job and it was not done.

I will never get that time back. But I did learn what to trust and what not.

Free can be fun sometimes. I am just waiting for free money.

Totally agree on this, the Chilton manuals are mediocre at best .
