About 3 or 4 decades ago I stopped using aftermarket manuals.
I got in trouble on a job because the aftermatket manual was missing specific detail on the job I was doing. It was too generic and I wasted about 3 hours of work time thinking about how I did the job and it was not done.

I will never get that time back. But I did learn what to trust and what not.

Free can be fun sometimes. I am just waiting for free money.

I agree. As I recall the online manuals seem as good as the factory manuals which I have.
Well worth trying.
My library used to offer them but no longer.

Totally agree on this, the Chilton manuals are mediocre at best .
