Just from having the tires replaced and wheels rotated - there are several deep chips and scraps around the lug areas from carless mechanics. Not just one one but on all of my rims. How can I find touch up paint or info for our wheels? I can't find anything online.

My mechanics employ the big wheel, low tyre procedure, different tools including a roller on the assembly machine. But I contributed with a couple of scratches, so I also want touch up paint.

1. If the wheels are so called diamond cut - the polished face is actually... diamond cut - the repair service is named similarly, so you should be able to find one now;

2. I made myself touch up paint in the form of a bottle and brush similar to nail polish. A drop of clear coat also helps. Mended two small chips on the doors with pretty good success. - source: auto paint shop. Add primer and rust transformer (acid).

But if there is special product for wheels, I'm still interested.

There has to be a paint code for the painted wheels on these vehicles. Why can't we get this information then order it?

Well I believe I've found the Paint Color Name from the 2017 Continental Brochure. "Dark Tarnish Painted Pockets" is what they are listed as. So Dark Tarnish is the color. But still no luck finding anything online.

Hi Eurythmian. To my knowledge, "Dark Tarnish" is not a paint color with a code. It is simply the Lincoln marketing name for the dark painted pockets on some wheels. In other words, you probably will not find a paint code named "Dark Tarnish" that you can purchase for Lincoln wheels. It is essentially a dark charcoal gray ( I have the "Dark Tarnish pockets" on my 2018 MKZ wheels).

You may have better luck if you check with a wheel repair shop or two in your area. If they are friendly, they may be willing to help you with matching that color. Just Google "automotive wheel repair shops in my area".

EDIT- Or alternately, ask the Service Department at your local Lincoln Dealer for the phone number of who they use for wheel repair/refinishing. Then contact them and ask if perhaps they will tell you what they use, or if you can purchase a small tube of touch up paint from them. And if I am mistaken, and there is a paint code for "dark tarnish", hopefully they will give you the code.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Just read a post on different site which a guy said he found Dupli-Color "Dark Shadow Grey (CX)" actually is a color match for this wheel color.
