2024 Nautilus Reserve II Hybrid - Built 1/29/24 Delivered 7/3/24
We picked up our new 24 Naughty last week and have had the expected new tech. fun and games.... Expected, as with all new software deep tech, just got to grin and bear it while Lincoln rolls out more numbers and get real customer experience data in their DATA LAKE.

That said, so many great new enhancements from the 22 Nautilus year! Absolutely love not hitting my head on the "low" tail gate/hatch anymore ;).

Here are some of the annoyances noticed and some reported back to the mothership:

  • Braking Coach popup stays on screen intermittently - will go away if you come to another full stop and cause the message to redisplay, then will timeout and disappear as expected. Reported to Lincoln.
  • Seatbelt warning popup stays on drivers screen intermittently. Not sure how to clear it, but most of the time it will finally clear. Have tried detaching seat belts to force a change from green check mark to red X, but does not work. Reported to Lincoln.
  • Easy Entry/Exit function works fine and moves the seat and wheel out of the way, when leaving the car. But, when getting into the car it moves the seat and wheel back to driving position as soon as you open the door, not after you get in and press start as it is supposed to. Report to Lincoln
  • Waze map only shows in the center console, with both Apple Carplay and Google onboard apps. Hopefully this will be fixed and added later. I already saw this posted in another post.
  • Loud pop sound happens when car starts. Saw this one on another post too.
  • Map prompt volume is too loud and does not save the new setting when you adjust it from the volume control. AKA, when any map software is talking you can adjust the "prompt volume" by turning the audion volume knob. This also shows on the center console display, as you change it. But the next time the map comes back with a prompt, it will be back to the loud volume and you have to turn it down.
  • Went out to the car this morning and it appears to have done a full system reset!@@@dang.... Both of the two (2) profiles (for each user and FOB) are gone and there is only the guest profile! The center console is back to displaying all the same initial Google prompts that it did while we were going through the intial setup with the salesman. This sucks, as we finally got both of the profiles "mostly" working properly yesterday. Looks like it is back to the drawing board and will have to open another ticket with Lincoln Concierge team for this one.
  • Rattle sound coming from the rear of the vehicle. I already checked and saw another thread on this issue and sounds like Lincoln is working on a rear shock bushing fix, maybe. I had a similar issue with our 2022 Nautilus but it was just the poorly engineered rear outboard seat belts getting twisted and rattling on the interior side-wall plastic.
  • No Hybrid power flow widget, like the one on my Hybrid MKZ sedan. It is nice to know where you are with the battery charge level and see how the energy is flowing and why. Hopefully, like their manual aludes to, this widget will be coming soon.
Again, love this car and am really excited to see all the new enhancements that will come with the OTA functionality included.
