Navigator 2005 Suspension Error

Hi

My Navigator 2005 has been showing "suspension error" message occasionally on console, although suspensions seem to work fine without any change in height/ride quality.

I have observed that before this warning comes up, compressor runs for some time before stopping and warning message is shown on console.

Any hints on what should I check? All 4 air bags were replaced last year and shock absorbers were also replaced around 4 months ago.

If I had to guess, I'd say your compressor is slowly dying.

It's a long story, but in short I found several leaks in lines and under performing compressor. I replaced seals for all joints, replaced t-joint, replaced compressor with a new one from Arnott, the car works fine now!

Mine basically went out but not without groaning and running excessively first. The last straw was loading it with consumer crap during a house move.

I didn't own it at that time but I got it cheap and swapped it with springs.
