So guys I have 1999 Lincoln Town Car Executive edition, I live in Europe, and I am only owner of Lincoln Town Car sedan in Croatia.
Here what is wrong with my car. I went to fix blend door (my mechanic replace blend door acutator) but I hear weird noise again. My mechanic said its on blend door because door was cracked (he tried to weld it, but didn't work) and I need to replace only door, not the blend door actuator (where to order such piece?)

-My cruise control don't work. I replaced fuses but nothing happened. Horn is working but those buttons on steering wheel are not working.
-Car takes fuel very very slow ( I am running on 95 or 100 RON)

And finally, how to take driver carpet off? Any instruction?
I hope someone will answer :)
Have a nice day guys!

has "blend door lever" which could be the name for the blend door but I am not completely certain. Does anyone else want to chime in to agree or disagree? The 2 top results only ship to the United States, but you might be able to find the same part "blend door lever" from a different seller on eBay that can ship to Croatia.

EDIT: actually I just found out that "lever" and "actuator" mean the same thing. So this part I suggested is just the actuator and not the blend door, sorry for any confusion caused. Good luck, happy holidays.

Hi, martinmg422.

Finding the replacement blend door will take time and effort due to the age of the car. You should probably advertise on eBay to find the part.

The cruise control may be the switches. You would need to read the PCM for any fault codes as a first step in troubleshooting. If you buy the factory service manual from Helm, that should have the troubleshooting procedures you need.

"Taking fuel very slowly" sounds like a problem with the venting to the gas tank. Check for crushed, bent, or blocked lines.

The carpet, like the carpet in almost all cars since the late 1970s, is a single piece carpet for the entire passenger compartment. You will need to remove all the seats, the front seat belts, and all the trim around the edge of the carpet to remove it. If you are replacing the carpet, ensure that you get the replacement floor insulation to go with it. However, do not get rid of the old floor insulation until the new carpet is installed to your satisfaction. This is just in case the new insulation does not come in, or if the "insulation" is not all the insulation originally installed.

Good luck.
