- My Lincoln
 - 2025 Lincoln Navigator (Ordered)

Hello all,
As I've been reading through the board since getting my '25 Navi Jet Reserve in May, I'm beginning to wonder if it is just mine that seems to be a "lemon" so-to-speak?
I do not live within 90 miles of a Lincoln Dealership, so I have been having to deal with the local Ford Dealer, but having said that, I have been to the dealership 8 times now, with a 5 month old vehicle that has 3000 miles.
2 recalls, cruise control bracket not installed correctly, driver's side seat fan failed twice, seat harness on the same seat was pinched and replaced, and now the moonroof trim piece/gasket that's falling into the track of the sun shade, so that I can't close the shade without holding it up first.
It's been frustrating with all of these issues, but then the vehicle overall, is just a disappointment to me.... I actually thought the '25 Navigator was supposed to "take on" GMC/Caddy and be as good, if not better than them... it's not even close to them... other than the price tag. My wife has a '24 Escalade and that vehicle is such a better Luxury SUV ...
The Navi's truck-like ride is horrendous... especially compared to an Escalade. Bouncing and pitching everywhere, and not for the faint of heart, engage Blue Cruise and watch how much that steering wheel works and vibrates. I can drive the same stretch of road with the Navi's 24 inch tires and the Caddy's 24 inch tires, and I feel every rock, pitch and road imperfection in the Navi. It's hardly noticeable in the Caddy on the same exact road.
The over-teched steering wheel controls are difficult to work with for the Cruise Control, there's no HUD anymore and there's no night vision. Again, GMC/Caddy has it beat with those opitons alone and the tradition cruse controls.
Brakes ... OMFG ... the brakes are just as frustrating as the inferior ride... they grab HARD ... and if you carry your pets like I do, you will have them flying thru the vehicle if someone pulls in front of you because of how touchy the brakes are. The dealership before/after/during the brake recalls told me that's the way that Ford engineered the electronic braking system and that's the way it is. WTF?
Riddle me this... how does my wife's '24 V8 Caddy get way better fuel economy than my Navi? Not just by a little, but A LOT! At least 1 mpg better when hot rodding them both and closer to 3 mpg better when driving like a normal person... especially on the highway. I can drive both like a grandma or like a race car driver, and her V8 beats my V6 Navi's economy every single time.
Speaking of pets... if you have larger dogs like I do, it's a chore to fit them into the rear seat area because of how tight the first and 2nd row seats are. GMC/Caddy's seats pivot forward, opening up the whole back end for a dog AND people to have easy direct access to the 3rd row. Lincoln... NOPE.
And why is the sam hill, did Ford not bury the seat actuators into the cargo/floor area? The Navi no longer is a "fold flat" 0° angle storage area, as once you get past the folded 3rd row, the cargo area drops by several inches to the back lift gate. Uncomfortable for transporting bigger dogs and odd when you put something in that's longer and it has to ride higher near the first row, because the 2nd row seats folded, are higher up than the cargo area by the tailgate.
Andy finally... I can NOT get comfy in the "30 way" driver seat ... as the headrest actually is farther forward than the upper part of the seat itself. (see pic) The headrest is straight up and yet, my head is pushed forward compared to my neck and upper shoulders.
Again, maybe I'm alone on all the Navi problems? I felt like Ford/Lincoln pitched this as a "luxury SUV" and the only thing luxury on it, has been the price tag.
