- 2020 Lincoln Navigator L Reserve
Has anyone got approved for the Lincoln Buyback Program for a Lincoln that you purchased used?
A little back story, November of 2023, I bought my used 2020 Lincoln Navigator L Reserve from a Ford dealership with the Lincoln Protect Premium Care Warranty. When I purchased it, I realized I couldn't connect the Lincoln Way app to my vehicle. I took it to the Lincoln dealership and after a week, they fixed it. Fast forward to November of this year, and the same problem again. I have taken my vehicle back and forth to the dealership since with no fix, and with it currently at the dealership for almost six weeks now with the engineers no longer reaching out to the dealership with other fixes to try and fix it. Today I called Lincoln Concierge, and told them about my frustrations and if they offered any sort of buyback program? He asked me a few questions and is calling the dealership to get all the current and past work done to my vehicle and said someone from their buyback program will contact me and let me know if I have been approved or not.
My question is, has anyone been approved for the Lincoln Buyback Program with a purchased used vehicle? All I am seeing online are people with success on purchased used vehicles. If you have had success, what is the process like? Also I am about $13,000.00 upside down in this current Navigator that has been in the shop. If I am approved, will they pay off the full loan amount I owe? Do you remember what the options were? I looked on my Dealership's page and noticed that Lincoln is trying to get rid of their 2024 Navigators, and I wouldn't mind getting another Lincoln, but I would like to have the same car note as I have now.
Thank you in advance for any guidance and answers.
