Lincoln app vehicle location works intermittingly

Several months ago, the Lincoln app was completely redesigned. I still don't like the new one. One backwards step is the vehicle location. Was always a current location in the old app. In the current app, it may show location from two hours ago. If I hit the refresh button, it rarely refreshes. If you hit it again, it says "Wait 30 seconds between refreshes." Even if you wait 30 seconds, it still won't refresh. You have to wait some unexplained interval for it to maybe refresh.

If the car was stolen, it probably would be of little use in trying to track it live. How is the experience of others? Thanks.
