I posted this question some time ago and the popular idea of the fix was to replace the controller. I did. (My back still hurts!) Wiper problem persists. The wipers work on constant speed but when trying to use intermittent, they just do what they want. A swipe now, in a few seconds, sometimes the wipers go up and then come back down in short jerks. And also, they will not park no matter what speed you try.
So now my question is this: Could the combination switch be causing the problem? I hate this thing of replacing everything until I accidentally get it right. The only other thing would be the wiper motor itself. I have undone and redone the two connectors from the chassis to the motor and they seem clean and solid.
Any more ideas here before I order that switch?
Thanks!
