My Lincoln
2003 town car signature
Hello everyone. Im new here and new to town cars. I have experience in working on cars but I need help with the driver seat. The problem is the seat won't move make clicks or anything so I look under it. I see a few things not connected. One being a silver box with a brown connector. And a few others. Attached are the pics. I remove the seat and it has clearly been messed with. I need help to identify a few connections that don't seem to have a place to connect. Any and all help will be much appreciated. There is a grey connector that was connected to the modual but nothing else was connected to the harnesses under the seat. The Grey connector that comes out of the floor has nothing that matches on the seat nor the air bag connector. Please help. Maybe its a wrong seat?20251003_230055.webp20251003_230012.webp20251003_230006.webp20251003_223427.webp

The yellow connector is probably air bag related...

I can help with the other connectors but need to know if you have memory seats.

Yes they have memory. I think I may be missing a harness. Every harness i look at doesn't seem to have the large Grey connector. Im stumped. I cant find a harness diagram.

The problem I'm having is the three connectors that come from the carpet one goes to the control module then there's the yellow and Grey connectors. There is nowhere on the seat to connect them to. And on the seat there are a few that have no matching harness connectors. There must be something g missing. Is there no harness diagram for the seat? Maybe ford will have a parts diagram?

I'm starting to believe that, as you said, this might not be the original seat.

You could match the harness connectors to the connector views I attached to post #5.

If you want to provide connector face photos and wire color list for each of the seat connectors (similar to the info on the connector views I posted), I could try to match them to various other years.

You mentioned there is only one yellow connector. I think you said on the car side but not on the seat side. If I got that right, the seat may not have air bags and might be older.

I've attached a Component Connector View that is the closest I have to a harness diagram.
