Hi! I am hoping someone can and will tell me how to remove the stainless steel (?) molding (or moulding, as the Brits would say, IIRC! :) ) that is on the rear doors above and continuing to the rear of the window(s). I bought my car with the front broken off on one side - ya gotta wonder what someone was doing to do that - and am looking to raid a u-pull yard for a "new" one. Two questions in particular: 1) Will I need any type of trim remover tool? 2) Can the trim be removed with the window up? (My rears don't work, and at U-Pull yards, well... their windows can't be lowered - at least not easily, even assuming the regulator / motor works.) Any help will be much appreciated.

OK, I figured it out. Pretty simple. It is just glued on with adhesive. Started at the end near the door pillar, pulled out the plastic end tab/cover, and used a long flat-blade screwdriver to gently separate from the rubber... slid / worked the screwdriver down the entire length. There was a little tab at the bottom rear, but that pulled out with just a little finesse. The trick, of course, is to go slowly and carefully, as the stainless steel molding is easily deformed.
