Google Routines from car interface

When I got my car in July, I began experimenting with different things the Google assistant could do from the car. I was signed in to my Google account and continue to be.

One feature I found useful was to say “Hey, Google, goodbye” or “Hey, Google, open door #1.” After each, lights would shut off or I’d be prompted for my door PIN and the door would open. After a recent update of some kind (sorry, i cannot pinpoint the date), I now get a message that “Routines are not supported on this device.” Anyone else experience this change?

Try a reset thru the settings menu. If that doesn't work, tell the dealership to do a factory reset which will delete all your settings to factory, so they'll have to be programmed again.

With the hundreds of gimmicks in vehicles today, I'm surprised when all of them work correctly.
