Hello!

I recently purchased a 2017 Continental Reserve 3.0L AWD. The car is almost SPOTLESS but I noticed one issue that is bothering my OCD. The passenger fog/accessory light is not turning on. I have been scouring the interwebs and I cannot seem to find a replacement or fix online anywhere. Has anyone here replaced this before? If so can you assist me?

EDIT: As an afterthought, the dealership did replace the front grill for me (for free!). Is it possible that they just forgot to plug that light in? would it be hard to try and check myself? I really don't want to take the bumper completely apart myself.

Hi NoOne2You and welcome to the Lincoln Forums.

First, it would be wise to determine if it is simply a bad bulb. If it is the bulb and replaceable, it will be listed in the Maintenance and Specifications section of your Owners Manual.

If it is only the bulb, you can replace it relatively inexpensively (if replaceable).
If it’s not the bulb, it could be a fuse (I do not know the circuits off the top of my head), a wiring issue, a problem with the housing etc.

Once the cause of the problem has been determined, we can obtain the correct bulb/part numbers from the Parts Department of our local Lincoln or Ford Dealer.

If no one here can furnish the bulb/part numbers and/or a place to get them, I would recommend stopping by your local Lincoln/Ford Dealership to obtain that information, along with their price.

If not too inconvenient, I recommend stopping by instead of calling. I find we get better service when dealing face to face, as opposed to phone calls, emails etc.

Once you have the part number and their initial price offer, you can negotiate price with them, or take the part numbers and shop online.

Also, have your VIN handy, as that is how they cross reference the correct parts for our particular vehicle.

I’m sure others will jump in to help, so keep us updated and good luck.

Thank you. I do not have a "local" Lincoln dealership near me but I have a few Ford dealerships. I will stop by and see what they say.

They did replace the front grill for me so im possibly thinking they might have just forgot to plug it back in. Its LED so it shouldn't just be a burnt out bulb type of deal.

there is no access to the bulb...you have to buy the whole assembly. about 140.00 bucks at the dealership...I couldn't find it on any automotive site...so
