Expedition transfer case in 2008 Navigator

Does anyone know if it's possible to swap the transfer case in 2008 Navigator with a one from Expedition. I know it's now a simple procedure since the transfer case in my truck doesn't have low gear ratio.

I would imagine so, but I haven't done one. Compare the model numbers on the metal tag of each transfer case. If the numbers match, you should be good to go. If you're getting a transfer case from a wrecking yard, they should have all interchange information on their computer system.
