Easy exit works fine. Easy entrance is not right. When I open door, seat starts to move forward instead of waiting until I get in and start the car. I think is is wrong.

Hi Dave1946. That is certainly wrong in comparison to the Easy entry/Exit feature operation in previous model years.

Check your Owners Manual for proper setting and operation.
If close enough, stop by your Dealership and have your salesperson go over the feature operation with you.

If it still will not operate correctly, have it addressed by the Service Department at your Dealership.

I’m sure others will jump in with more help and advice, keep us updated and good luck.

Bbf2530,

I believe it all depends on which key fob you've used to open the drivers door. If my key fob, programmed to my settings, is picked up and used by my wife, she won't like the adjustments our mkx makes as she's getting in. And visa versa if I grab her key fob with her settings. I hope this helps.

Hi John. Yes. That is correct in certain situations. However, in this case, with a brand new 2024 Nautilus, I’m assuming the OP knows whether their key-fobs are programmed. And he did not state they have been programmed.

Also, programmed key-fobs or not, the seats should not be moving forward when the door is opened while the EasyEntry/Exit feature is enabled (as the OP stated his is doing). It should only be moving forward when the Start button is pushed (unless the feature has been changed in the 2024 Nautilus, which we are not aware of)

Hope that makes my reply clearer.

Good luck. 🍻

Bbf2530,

Sorry, thought you were the OP. Yes, clarification would be nice.

Do you have a key profile set to another person? It could be a 2nd profile with no entry/exit set assigned to a nearby fob or phone.

No. Exit works fine. Entry doesn't
Still just to be sure you should make sure there are no other profiles on the car. If there are any, wipe them and leave only yours just to test it. The only thing that would cause the seat to move before you hit the start button is a profile with no entry exit assist and a key close enough to activate that profile.

Hi Dave1946. In that case (and if Jacyte’s advice does not help), it seems there may be a programming/electronic glitch which needs addressing.
Since it seems to be easily reproducible, having this issue proper diagnosed and corrected under warranty would be the best course of action.

When you bring your vehicle in for service, physically show the problem to the Service Advisor, so they can see it and acknowledge it in front of you. In this way, you can avoid the dreaded “Could not duplicate the customer concern” invoice diagnosis.

You could try suggestions like turning the Easy Entry/Exit feature on and off, or disconnecting the battery for a period of time. However, I tend to try and discourage those self-help fixes, since they are often temporary band aids which sometimes only mask a deeper issue. And often just long enough for the warranty to run out.
So since it is a new vehicle with a good warranty, let the Service Department diagnose the issue and properly correct it.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Same with ours on wife's profile.

Couldn't agree more. Exit is turned on in my wife's profile. Mine is set back anyway so it is not effected.

Just went to dealer and their cars do same thing. Service dept said they have to get with lincoln to figure out how to fix
I just verified, mine actually does move the seat up to the saved position when the door is opened. It then adjusts the wheel, bolsters and mirrors once you start it. It is very odd that it moves at all prior to hitting start.

Just got the new 2024 Nautilus and same issue with the seat moving forward. Very frustrating. I had a 2021 model and loved it. I think the remodel has a few bugs to be worked out.

Many threads on this including this one from way back in March. Disassociate your keyfob from your profile for now until Lincoln can fix it. You can still use the memory buttons to enact your profile before starting the vehicle.

My message right before yours will alleviate the issue until there's a fix and you shouldn't have to mess with it.

I am having the same issue. It’s very frustrating. Has there been. Fix for this yet?
Welcome to the Forum. 👋

Mine does this also, but not all the time. I'll try the temporary fix suggested in Swindler's previous message. Thanks for the recommendation.

2022 nautilus. In vehicle settings, there is no option for easy exit shown.
